Jay Cross Jay Cross
Research Associate

Jay Cross is an internationally recognised e-learning authority. He has challenged conventional wisdom about how adults learn since designing the first business degree program offered by the University of Phoenix thirty years ago. Jay, who coined the term eLearning, has co-authored Implementing eLearning, founded Internet Time Group, served as CEO of eLearning Forum for its first five years, and writes a column on effectiveness for CLO magazine.

He is the author of Informal Learning: Rediscovering the Natural Pathways that Inspire Innovation and Performance (Pfeiffer, October 2006). An internationally acclaimed strategist, speaker, and designer of corporate learning and performance systems, Jay is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Business School.

Jay Cross heads the Internet Time Group, based in Berkeley, California.

Jon Ingham Jon Ingham

Jon Ingham is a human capital management (HCM) specialist with nearly 20 years experience in HR consulting. He has worked in the UK and Europe as an HR Director for Ernst & Young and as a consultant for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). He has a BA in Psychology, a Masters in Engineering and an MBA. A popular writer, speaker and course tutor, Jon has also delivered courses in Strategic Management to business school MBA students. He is a Member of the BPS, a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, a Fellow of the RSA and a Certified Management Consultant.

Jon is a director in Human Capital Consulting with Buck Consultants and also consults through his company, Strategic Dynamics Consultancy Service Ltd.

Debbie Carlton Debbie Carlton

Debbie Carlton, who has a background in engineering and holds an MBA from Henley Management College, has also spent over 10 years working on learning and performance issues, mainly within the government sector, including the military and emergency services. She has also worked on knowledge flow issues for Reuters and runs the Dynamic Knowledge consultancy.

Dr Celia Richardson Celia Richardson
Research Associate

Dr. Celia Richardson is an independent learning designer with over 10 years experience working with corporations, universities and governments in the strategy, design, development and implementation of technology and learning solutions. She has worked in academia, and with the banking, chemical, health, insurance and telecommunications industries. In addition to her consulting experience, Dr. Richardson remains active in the academic arena. Her area of research for her Doctorate was educational technology, with an emphasis on e-learning and instructional design. Her dissertation title was Changes in Teaching Strategies Enabled by Internet and Communications Technology.
