Learning Light & Creative Sheffield exhibited at the 5th Pan-Commonwealth Conference

Learning Light and Creative Sheffield exhibted at the 5th Pan-Commonwealth Conference 14th July - 17th July 2008 to showcase ' Sheffield the City of Learning' and demonstrate elearning developed by companies in the Yorkshire & Humberside region.

James Wilson of Creative Sheffield and David Patterson of Learning Light delivered a presentation to the audience during the lunchtime showcase session and were interviewed by Commonwealth TV.

The Fifth Pan-Commonwealth Forum on Open Learning (PCF5) explored how open and distance learning can help achieve international development goals and education for all. The Forum brought together over 700 practitioners, researchers, planners and policymakers from 70 different countries. As an interdisciplinary event, PCF5 offered reflection on access to learning and faciliates a transnational exchange of ideas and expertise.
